Time Just Flies.....
I just realized it's been nearly 5 years since I've written about Moe's Ache Studio. Bud, Moe, McLovin and myself are all still frequent inhabitants in the studio. We just can't figure out where the time goes. Time now is devoted to finishing up some new pieces for the Talbot Street Art Fair in Indianapolis June 17 and 18th.

Doobie Duck
Back in the studio, rolling out new pieces! Doobie was actually finished in December, but had to wait for 2012 for his official showing.
I am thinking about entering him in the SAMA
(Society of American Mosaic Artists) 2012 Salon. The conference will be held this year in Lexington, KY....close to home! If you are a mosaic enthusiast, check out their site, or better yet, attend the conference!

Let's Face it......
It's been a tough week. After a not-too serious fall on Sunday, I am nevertheless moving slowly in my last minute preparations for the St. James Court Art Fair this weekend. My scraped up face (yes, I face-planed across that mulch and dirt with great impact!) looks worse than it feels, but sore muscles and bruises have kept me in bed with ice packs.
I can hardly wait to greet 200,000 visitors to the show this weekend looking like a battered babe, but I will be there with some new pieces providing nothing happens between here and Louisville!
Stop by and see the new work, and my new face! Booth #409 on the court!
